1. Overview
At Prompt It Print It, we stand behind the quality of our products. This Refund & Returns Policy explains when and how we provide refunds for print orders, digital services, and subscriptions. Please read it carefully before placing an order.
All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We are committed to fair and prompt resolutions.
2. Print Order Refunds
Because each print order is custom manufactured to your specifications, we are generally unable to accept returns or issue refunds for orders that have been correctly produced. Specifically:
- Cancelled before production: You may cancel an order and receive a full refund if you contact us before the order enters the print queue (typically within 4 hours of payment confirmation). Once production begins, cancellations are not possible.
- Change of mind: We do not offer refunds for orders that have been correctly produced as submitted. Please review your design and order details carefully before checkout.
- Customer error: Refunds are not issued for print errors resulting from customer-submitted files or prompts, including typos, low-resolution images, or incorrect color expectations due to screen-to-print variation.
3. Defective or Incorrect Orders
We will provide a full reprint or full refund at our discretion if:
- Your order arrives with a manufacturing defect (e.g., misprints, blurry output, cut errors).
- You received the wrong product (wrong design, wrong quantity, wrong paper stock).
- Your order was lost or damaged in transit.
To qualify, you must contact us within 14 days of delivery (or 21 days from shipment date if delivery cannot be confirmed) and provide:
- Your order number.
- A clear description of the issue.
- Photographs of the defective product and packaging (required for defect claims).
We reserve the right to request the return of defective items before issuing a remedy. Return shipping for defective items is covered by Prompt It Print It.
4. Digital Products & Tokens
AI design generations (token spend) are non-refundable once consumed. Tokens are used the moment a design is generated, and the AI output is immediately available for your use. We encourage you to use the preview functionality before committing a token to a full generation where available.
Token purchases (if offered as one-time add-ons) are non-refundable once purchased, except in cases of duplicate charges or billing errors.
If you believe tokens were deducted in error (e.g., due to a system error where no design was returned), contact us and we will review and restore tokens where appropriate.
5. Subscription Refunds
Monthly subscriptions are billed at the start of each billing cycle and are generally non-refundable for the current period. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you retain access to your plan features through the period end date.
Annual subscriptions: If you cancel an annual subscription within 7 days of your initial purchase or renewal and have not consumed more than 10% of your annual token allocation, you may request a pro-rated refund for the unused months. Contact us at billing@promptitprintit.com.
Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a system error, we will issue a full refund of the erroneous charge promptly upon verification.
Refunds for subscriptions purchased through third-party platforms (e.g., App Store, Google Play) are subject to those platforms’ refund policies.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:
- Email us at support@promptitprintit.com with the subject line “Refund Request — [Your Order Number].”
- Include your full name, email address on file, and order number.
- Describe the issue clearly and attach any supporting photos if claiming a defect.
We aim to acknowledge all refund requests within 1 business day and resolve them within 5 business days.
7. Refund Timeline
Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, credits typically appear within:
- Credit/debit cards: 5–10 business days.
- PayPal or other digital wallets: 3–5 business days.
We will send you a confirmation email when a refund has been issued. If you do not see the credit after 10 business days, please contact your financial institution before reaching out to us.
